New Features + AIMS360 Software Enhancements
Come on over and check out the latest and the greatest.
Batch Payments: Instantly process payments for multiple invoices
Attention to our customers dealing with large transactional amounts! Get ready for this spell-binding update that simplifies our ‘Batch Payment’ module. With the new ‘Select’ column, you have the flexibility to nominate multiple invoices for payment. This means you can complete your invoice payments for multiple customers within one screen! Plus, you can apply a single reference number to all the tagged invoices at once instead of manually entering them per invoice. You’ll also notice we’ve added the tag functions you’re familiar with and added more filtering capabilities to make this process easier for you.
Note– The previous ‘Pay’ column will directly mark the tagged invoices as ‘paid’ just like before.
Existing AIMS360 customers, please see for more info: Payments
Material Position Reporting Update
Treat yourself to the wide variety of reports we offer. Under the Material Requirement module, we’ve recently added a new column to our Material Position report to show what is on order for each line item on the screen (previously only appeared on the report). This report tells you based on your past and upcoming orders, cut+ sew, and fabrics (with selected dates) if you will have enough raw materials to produce or not.
Note – Not to get confused with our Material Commitment Report which shows you your current raw materials inventory for “all time”.
For existing AIMS360 customer: Other reports under this module includes Time Phased Materials Report
3rd Party Integrations Updates
Shopify: Multi-Location
#ICYMI from our last release note:
Early July of this year, we’ve sent out an email notification that AIMS360 is ready for Shopify’s multi-location feature. As they’ve been rolling out this exciting feature to merchants, our Shopify users are ready to manage inventory, fulfillment, and restocks at multiple locations. Preparation is key~
EDI
If you’re working with EDI then you know retailers frequently ask for changes! To stay compliant with our list of EDI retailers, we’re constantly updating our end to stay compliant with their latest features. Here are some of the updates:
Macy’s Private Label: Support for Pack Configuration by Size (EDI)
For customers who are working with Macy’s Private Label, a specific pack configuration is required for distribution purposes. The vendor guide requirement asks for basic size breaks. So when you receive the 850 purchase order, it’ll come with a two-letter pack code (ex. AA, BB, CC). Lucky for you, you’re in great hands! Our team has made some adjustments to process this configuration so you will have the ability to report on how many packs by code are required per order.
Make sure you have this set up! Please see: Macy’s MCG: How to Use Advanced Packing Rules for Private Label Purchase Orders
Amazon Drop ship: Add Multiple Cartons in Drop Ship Order
In the realm of drop ship orders, sometimes you may need to add multiple cartons to an order. For Amazon dropship, it happens so frequently, it’s like second nature. And so we’ve made a small but mighty enhancement where existing EDI customers can toggle the new on/off setting to “Allow multiple cartons in a drop ship order”.
And if you’re using our UPS integration through API, our system will auto-generate the lead tracking number and the subsequent tracking numbers for your multiple cartons. Making you the EDI wizard of your team, by providing all the resources you need at your fingertips.
Add an Alternate “Ship From” Name in Your Warehouse Setup
This enhancement allows you to send out a GS1-128 label with your “Ship From” name compliant to your EDI trading partner while keeping your internal “Ship From” name for your warehouses hidden (but visible to you in your AIMS360 database). A clever disguise, we’ll say.
Dillards: Drop Ship + Branded Packing Slip
And if you’re not aware yet, we’ve recently added Dillards.com dropship as an EDI trading partner (view our complete list here)! To remain compliant with their unique requirement to include a store location of 0689, note the store number will not be visible on the order once it’s imported into AIMS360. An asterisk symbol “*” will be in place of the store number. But don’t worry, our database stores this information! The store number from the 850 will appear once your 810 invoice file is generated.
And of course, as with every dropship comes a branded packing slip. Existing EDI customers will find a branded packing slip for Dillards.com available in our system. Interested in doing business with this EDI trading partner? Send a message to our team at support@aims360.com.
