AIMS360 (August 2018) Release Notes

We are on a streak of releasing new features and software updates! Besides the usual bug-squashing – read on to check out our latest improvements inspired by you.

New Features

Quick Filtering with “Contains” or “Greater Than”

Wish you can find what you’re looking for in seconds? Or can’t remember what the item name starts with? Now you can easily locate what you’re looking for with these new filters:

• “Contains”
• “Greater Than” / “Greater Than or Equal to”

Say you have 1,000 dresses in your inventory and you want to only view the dresses that contain the word “beaded”. With the default “Starts With” filter, it may be hard to find the exact beaded dresses you may be looking for since some styles may have the word in the middle of the name (ex. Halter dress with beaded collar). With the newly added  “Contains” filter, you can apply it and your filtered view will show all dresses with the word beaded in it.

The “Greater Than” or “Greater Than or Equal to” filters are helpful when you’re trying to find styles created within a date range or to find the same style in different colors.

Another nifty feature (we’re feeling generous this month), you can now save that set of filters so you don’t need to re-apply them next time.

3rd Party Integrations Updates

3PL Warehouse Integrations: Send Order or Pick Ticket Data to Your Warehouse

Why would I want to send pick tickets instead of customer orders?

Sending a pick ticket enables you to have full control over what your warehouse picks and packs for the order. If you have enough product to fill the order 100% but, you want to hold some of the units for a different account, you can pick the exact amount that you want to fill and send only that data. Whereas, if you send an order, then the warehouse will pick whatever units they find in stock. If they can fill it 100% they will.

NuOrder

Fun Fact: One of our founding pillars is to guarantee you have complete control. We have added new fields to the Push Inventory screen such as Season and Available Date to give users more flexibility in selecting styles for updating inventory. The Founding Fathers of AIMS360 would be proud. :’)

Shopify: Add Tags When You Import Style Info

We heard your pain from having to manually add Shopify tags. Now you can easily add Shopify tags to your styles when you’re importing the styles into AIMS360. We’ve eliminated the need for manual entry, once again. Seriously, at this point – we might as well trademark the phrase.

Bergen Logistics: Enhanced Pick Ticket Performance

Our pick ticket integration with Bergen Logistics was acting all crazy. We’ve got it under control now and even threw in a few extra bonuses. For you data-loving folks, you can now read more detailed information from Bergen Logistics on shipped pick tickets. And here’s the cherry on top – so much more info was added that our software can replicate the shipment and generate an EDI 856 (Advance Ship Notice) for you. *takes off sunglasses* Sweet mother of ERP software.

EDI – Electronic Transactions with Major Department Stores

If you’re working with EDI then you know retailers frequently ask for changes! To stay compliant with our list of EDI retailers, we’re constantly working hard to ensure our end is updated with their latest features. Here are some of the updates:

Amazon Dropship EDI

We have made improvements to our AIMS360 EDI to ensure we are compliant with Amazon Drop Ship. Updates have been made to our 850 PO, 810 Invoice, 856 ASN to add the proper Reason Codes, Transactions codes, Status codes, and more, as well as the ability to print branded packing slips.

Allocate Inventory Based on Pre-set Rules with the Intelligent Allocation Feature

We’re still perfecting our Intelligent Allocation module. This feature will help take all of the guesswork out of allocating goods to orders from WIP or Stock. Inventory + Production Replenishment Forecasting Report

We’re planning to create a report for the last 3 months, 6 months, or year sales to project future inventory quantity need. With this report, you can plan ahead, see what areas you can save money, and stay on top of the game! And, styles and colors can be marked with replenishment codes that specify what % to reorder.
