DID YOU KNOW: Manage Pre-Orders in AIMS360 Apparel Software

One of the major concerns is how to fulfill your pre-orders and your regular customer orders because you don’t want your production line to fall behind. Most importantly, you don’t want to gain any unhappy customers.
So How Can AIMS360 Help with Pre-Order Management?
AIMS360 can push your pre-orders over from your wholesale or e-commerce integration. The system can set the order completion date automatically based on your e-commerce order import rule or you can set it yourself. The completion date in the system reports when you told the customer the order will be ready by. Please note that e-commerce orders don’t have a start and completion dates. It’s better to confirm your order completion dates on your e-commerce retail orders in AIMS360 to ensure delivery is on-time.
If you need more production time to meet that order’s completion date AIMS360 has multiple tools to do this.
AIMS360 ERP work-in-process (WIP) module and Open to Sell By Date Report (OTS) will allow you to manage all of those orders. In addition, it’ll let you know how much more is required and by when so that all the customer get their orders on time, all the time.
AIMS360 also allows you to create an Allocated Purchase Order (PO) to send to your factory for production from one or more orders. This is a quick shortcut so that you can create and quick email an order contract to your vendor.

Don’t Forget to Use the Production Forecasting Report
You should also use the Production Forecasting Report alongside with your pre-order management tools for increased optimization and process efficiency. Together, you’ll have two very powerful tools to determine how much you need to produce and meet the demands of pre-order times without missing any orders.
It should be noted that Production Forecasting Report is only available to those on Designer and Luxury Tier.
